The 7 year old boys All-Stars represented Pineville extremely well. They went into the night needing to win two games from a very talented Alexandria American team. The first game was another nail biter. The game went back and forth until the bottom of the fifth when Noah Spivey scored from second on a base hit by Cade Moreau to break a 6-6 tie and force another game. The second game was much like the first with Alex striking first with 4 runs in the top of the first. Pineville came back with 3 in the bottom of the inning. A few more runs were exchange and in the bottom of the fourth Deuce Davis hit a solo homerun to tie the game at 7. In the last inning, the Pineville team ran out of gas and the Alexandria's power proved too much. Alex scored 6 runs in the top of the fifth to put the game out of reach. The final score was 13-8.
