| Congratulations to the Pineville 5 Year Old All Stars -- DISTRICT 8 CHAMPIONS -- wow! They beat Jena Thursday night 31 to 29 to win the District 8 Championship. The boys played a strong defensive game recording 5 to 7 outs per inning. The batting was strong and the game ended with Pineville batting with a runner on first and the last two batters not getting to bat. The series began with a loss to Jena followed with wins against Natchitoches, Grant, Sabine, and Jena. Thank you to Roy O Martin, our sponsor that helped make this possible. |
| The Pineville 12 Year All Stars are scheduled to play Monday July 7 in Natchitoches at 6pm against Rapides West. We will try to keep you posted as the games are played. |
